Livingston Centre Exhibition

The Livingston Centre at the rear of Killinchy Church is a modern exhibition space and a focal point for a whole range of community activities.

This area houses a permanent exhibition focusing on Christianity in this part of east Ulster, and in particular, on the life of the Rev John Livingston and his distinguished descendants, including one man who helped draft the American Declaration of Independence and later negotiated the Louisiana Purchase; one who signed the Declaration of Independence; and another who was a key aide to Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans and later served as his Secretary of State.
