Main Courtyard

Here stands a fine Jacobean Manor House, built by Randall MacDonnell.  You can see three projecting bays at the front, and an entrance doorway over which are three stone projections, once possibly depicting animal heads or natural features.

One of Ireland’s most romantic ruins, Dunluce Castle’s history and archaeology have close connections, both peaceful and bloody, between Ulster and Scotland.
